- Joint financial documents showing your name and your partner’s name that can be a strong indicator that you shared a financial commitment. These can be bank accounts, joint loans, or joint credit cards.
- Joint bills – If you and your partner share a household, providing joint bills such as electricity, water, gas bills, can demonstrate that you’re sharing household expenses.
- Evidence of shared assets refers to any resources or possessions that are jointly owned or manage. Examples of shared assets include property ownership, and vehicles that is jointly owned or leased.
- Evidence of shared activities and holidays any experiences, events or trips that are enjoyed by couple. Examples of shared activities could be family holidays, weekend hobbies, cultural or religious festivities or work-related events.
- Evidence of communication any indication that you and your partner are engaged in effective communication with each other. These can be collaborative decision making and prompt responses to messages, emails, or phone calls.
4. Health Requirements:
- Completed health examinations for all applicants
- Health insurance information
5. Character Requirements:
- Police clearance certificates for all countries lived in for more than 12 months over the past 10 years
- Details of any criminal convictions or charges
- Details of any previous visa refusals or cancellations
It is recommended that all necessary documentation be collected and organized in a timely manner. In the event that more than 18 months have elapsed since completion of your health exams or more than 15 months have passed since issuance of your National Police certificate by the Australian Federal Police (AFP), new checks will be necessary in order to proceed with your application.
